President tsen thank you and welcome to all who are attending this meeting on Web Ex or on the phone but as we open our Meeting Today i want to acknowledge that this is the asian american pacific Islander Heritage Month which recognizes contributions of asian americans and arts, culture, law, Health And Science in america. And while we celebrate the contributions of asian americans to america we must note the rising wave of antiasian Harassment And Violence that has happened during this pandemic fueled by the rhetoric of Heat And Ridicule that has come from the past president. Asian americans have long endured a history of racism despite their many contributions to american society and we become convenient scapegoats during hard times as hashappened during this pandemic.
