Mason Fitzgerald has been appointed new chief executive of Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.

The region’s mental health trust has appointed a new chief executive officer following a national recruitment process.
Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) said Mason Fitzgerald will take over from outgoing chief executive Jonathan Warren when he retires in March.
Appointed after a process that involved input from some of the trust’s users, Mr Fitzgerald is currently deputy chief executive and director of strategic partnerships at NSFT.

A new chief executive officer [CEO] has been announced for the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) today.
Mason Fitzgerald, who is currently deputy CEO and director of strategic partnerships at NSFT, will take over from Jonathan Warren when he retires in March 2021 following a national recruitment process.
He has had an 18-year career in the NHS, all within mental health, and has played a pivotal role in supporting organisations to improve from good to outstanding.

The news comes after the Trust announced it would be working with specialist midwives at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn to provide trauma-focused therapy as part of national maternal mental health service funding. ....
