Can you envision yourself living in a house that resembles a cell, can be 3D-printed, is weather-resistant and easily transportable? And all for the price of a new car?
Serendix Partners is betting on this as a viable future habitat.
The house, spotted by SoraNews24, is light but sturdy and costs three million yen (RM115,297). It was designed by Japanese architect Masayuki Sono, winner of the NASA 2015 3D housing challenge.
This future-oriented home takes the form of a spherical honeycomb cell. Its size is modest, about 30sq m, but every centimeter is optimised to offer a pleasant living space. ....
