Francesco's is a new NY-pizzeria in Providence

PROVIDENCE
Frank Schiavone is a realtor with restaurateur s heart. That s why when he noticed the Pizza Gourmet space at 357 Hope St. was for rent, he dove in head-first.
Now he s running Francesco’s Pizzeria as a side job, with his mother in the kitchen.
Schiavone is not new to the industry. He was at Ruth s Chris Steakhouse back in 2007 before managing Fred and Steve s Steakhouse at Twin River Casino in Lincoln. His career started, as so many do, as a dishwasher when he was in high school at The Florentine Grille.
What made him open a new restaurant during a pandemic that has seen many restaurants close? ....
