Thiensville Village President Van Mobley retains his seat in a race against a write-in candidate

Van Mobley will serve a fourth term as Thiensville village president after a competitive race against write-in opponent Jan Heinitz.
Mobley thanked his supporters and cited the issues he will prioritize as village president. He received 532 votes (about 54.4% of the vote) compared to Heinitz s 445 (45.5%).
Election results are unofficial until they are canvassed.
Together we will preserve and enhance our police and fire protection, maintain and update our infrastructure and continue to facilitate downtown redevelopment, Mobley said in an email.
