A live look at the upcoming term continues with remarks from former u. S. Supreme court law clerks. The George Washington law overview and the National Constitution center started about 10 minutes ago. One thing that just struck me was that there was a component to the interview, but the result was a very personal component and what she talked about is that she really cares deeply that the clerks are civil with each other, and are good people and well get along with each other and with clerks for all the other chambers. She will try to screen for that. That was that, and i got a call a week later and i was obviously thrilled to say yes, and it was an amazing year. So, i will turn to rory little. Like most of my life, i didnt take the traditional path, but i am blessed to have been given the opportunity to make a difference for others and stand in this Historic Chamber today. I love arizona, the grand canyon state, its people and our spirit. Like many arizonans, i wasnt born there, so this is a love of choice. Also like many arizonans, i first came to the state on a military assignment in the summer of 1990 to attend Pilot Training at Williams Air Force base, now home to a thriving Industrial Park called mesa gateway. I fell in love with arizona right away and was fortunate to have the Majestic View from the sky as a pilot. What a privilege to live in a land of adventure id only read about as a kid. Home to one of the seven natural wonders of the world and the grand canyon, and our diverse landscapes, mountains, canyons, lakes, rivers, sunsets, and the powerful desert lightning. Youre having a white christmas. We may see a passing flurry, snow showers in a couple spots tonight, but the chance for a windy christmas is much higher than a white christmas. Theres no song about that. Get writing. Well show you whats happening because were watching a clipper system and this guy passing to our north, you can see that spin up toward cleveland and buffalo and when we have clippers that move to our north, down here, like heres the spin, we dont get a lot of snow. Yes, the snow is in the mountains of West Virginia and western maryland, but locally we had a couple sprinkles and snow showers earlier. All this really has lifted quickly to the east. There may be some wet flakes mixed in north of baltimore, so were watching that and also a few flakes are trying to fall just east of hagerstown racing in toward western Frederick County and in western maryland throughout areas from hancock west in toward allegheny and Garrett County to 4 inches by morning.
