precipitation here. runoff just too much in downtown baltimore. we had flooding in that direction. temperature-wise, we re looking at 60. real warm day. we dry out today, but for the next couple hours, it ll be damp and wet out there. for more on your roads, we head to kim brown. looking good this morning on the beltway. no problems around 695 or at the tunnels, but we have several intersections around the area blocked due to fallen trees. anne arundel county, sand road is blocked due to fallen k trees in the roadway. owings mills, caves road at bell field road. we have wind warnings posted this morning at the bay bridge. as we look at the bromo tower traffic is very quiet. the family of a missing baltimore county woman takes matters into their own hands. today they re forming a search party looking for her body. as we reported on monday, 22-year-old jerryell foster disappeared from her apartment. her family is searching for her body in the woods near her apartment. her b

this area has seen extensive flooding before. if you re traveling on patapsco avenue this morning, be careful and watch out for a little standing water. you don t want to get stuck in that or make it worse. this is how things look in south baltimore. let s throw it back to wyatt in the studio with a further look at the weather. wyatt? sherrie, yeah, i mean just unbelievable how wet things are out there from very heavy rains in here overnight. it wasn t really the complete rainfall totals that are so impressive, it was how fast we got the rain. the runoff is too much for city streets and drains to deal with. here s a look at what was the case over the last six hours. about 11:30 last night, very heavy rain pushing into the central part of maryland, also the eastern shore getting doused with heavy precipitation. right now, maryland s most powerful radar, we re not picking up on much remaining precipitation out there. you see one last band of rain came through in the last few
outer loop at liberty road. you ll see no problems including delays or incidents. the only thing to let you know about, is ongoing water main break repair is going to have that intersection closed until further notice. use hanover street this morning. i guess ongoing as an alternate this morning. traffic is really quiet downtown. jamie and megan, back to you. we have an abc2 news exclusive to start off the show. we re taking you to fulton avenue in the western part of the city where an officer was involved in a crash. this happened before 1:00 this morning, injureing two other people. investigators aren t saying what caused this crash on fulton. five counts. one returned guilty as the jury returned verdict yesterday after deliberating the trial of mayor sheila dixon. abc2 news sherrie johnson has one of the biggest stories for the city. reporter: we are live outside of baltimore city hall right now where some city council members are a bit shaken after yesterday s news.
