you fund the programs that have been proven effective in helping us either create pathways to good jobs or make bad jobs better. the other suggestion we have is to support progressive revenue measures. two programs of one to bring to your attention, no. 1, a hotel vocational program that we have been conducted for the past six years. we have been helping hundreds of work and be placed into union hotel jobs and be able to leave jobs where they were getting paid below minimum wage and lacking over time or any benefits, at any time a long term stability. the second program that has been affected is the labor agency. they have helped workers recover wages. they have been effective in collaborating with bt groups to make sure workers across the city are getting access to the information about their rights and we are asking for an increase to the funding to this agency to give to their work for enforcement as well as expanding the out reach to more workers who need this infor ....

is that decisions are made based on facts, not conjecture. that is why i wanted to make sure the record reflects what we believe are the facts regarding some of the statements last week. the two things i would like to speak on, one was that there were claims made and the square footage exceeds. this is the simplest thing to speak to. this just cannot happen. we are a huge company and we are so rigorous in the hiring of our consultants, it takes six months to get a consultant approved because our of our security concerns. this would risk losing their license if they were misrepresenting something. in this case, the building we are looking at, the entire ground floor is over 4,000 feet. the portion that chase has leased is less than 4,000 feet, this is about 3900 for hon this is about 3900 square feet. if you measure in other ways, you get 3700 square feet. the bottom line is that we have agreed and welcome staff to come out at any time once we start building and there ....

a lot of those people have migrated into the tenderloin. we have seen an increase in some immigrant families in those districts as well. i think it will be really good to have a discussion about all of that. this is kind of interesting. manufacturing is interesting when you see them talking about the twitter deal. it might be interesting at some point to look at just the economy in san francisco where the jobs are that people are doing. there has been a different tors of different types of manufacturing. they will look at places where certain breweries and stuff, there are other types of manufacturing that has taken place on a smaller scale. later on, maybe we can look at that, where some of the jobs are. also, speaking of tourism and what draws people to san francisco. years ago, it was easy to see life music here in the city and it seems to be like dwindling on some levels. you used to be able to go to paradise lounge and see poetry. if you are a local band, folk musi ....
