May 25 is a day for all wine lovers to raise a glass and toast National Wine Day.
In honor of this thirsty date, this week’s adventure buzzed me around the SouthCoast on a vino-inspired bar hop to try wine at a candle factory, a library, a whaling warehouse and a hipster hangout with painted eyes on seashells… do you know any of these places?
Sunday’s wine-tasting journey led us down the ruby red path. Red wine originated from West Asia, the earliest reference to any named wine was from 17th  century BC lyrical poet Alcman and who praises the “flowery-scented” aroma. ....
