WINDSOR The iconic wooden tower alongside U.S. Highway 34 at the edge of the Martin Supply Inc. salvage yard is gone, and the business is closed, but the business will resume there under new ownership this summer.
Andersen’s Sales & Salvage Inc. of Greeley, using the legal entity 203 5th Avenue LLC, purchased the property late last year and has been cleaning it up before reopening this year, said Sarah Willcutts, manager at Andersen’s.
Weld County records show that the 17.8-acre property at 8405 U.S. Highway 34 changed hands for $1 million. Andersen’s website posted a notice saying that “The rumors are true. We did purchase Martin’s Supply on Highway 34. It is currently closed for renovation and cleanup.”
