Clackamas County commissioners sent Gov. Kate Brown
a letter late Thursday night, asking her to implement a two-week caution period, instead of the high-risk category.
Commissioners say they re fearful for what will happen to businesses facing another setback. This is going to shut down some businesses permanently, and those employees will have nowhere else to go except the unemployment line, said Commissioner Paul Savas.
Commissioners say they re also concerned about the timing. They want to know why they were only given a few days before the high-risk restrictions took effect.
