Marshland pupils write poem in memory of Red Arrows pilot

“Staff are working tirelessly to give our students every opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills to achieve the grades they deserve,” he said.   
Students’ final day in school is Friday June 18, he said, which means that in the weeks before “every single lesson counts towards your child’s GCSE grades.    
“Therefore, it is imperative that all students set themselves a target of 100 per cent attendance for the next four weeks.  
“If students are in isolation due to their behaviour or for not meeting school expectations, it will have a detrimental effect on their grades.  
“They will not be able to complete their assessments under the same level of control as students participating in lessons.”  ....

West Norfolk schools cancel trips with Camps International

Terrington High School students have had their trip to Kenya cancelled by West Norfolk Academies Trust following issues with Camps International.

A school trust has said it is with great sadness it has cancelled international trips planned for students this summer following issues with the company that runs them.
Camps International was criticised for continuing with payments from families of students signed up for trips to Kenya this summer, despite not knowing whether they would be able to go ahead, claimed a parent at St Clement s High School.
Kerry-Ann Lawrence, whose son Austin signed up to the trip in 2019 along with 12 other students at the school, claimed they were  not doing the right thing by continuing with payments, after being told a deadline for the final one would be on May 1. ....
