Local health departments have received enhanced funding for the first time as a result of the Health First Indiana (HFI) initiative. HFI is a historic investment in public health made possible by legislation passed by the 2023 Indiana General Assembly. The Marshall County Drainage Board and the Marshall County Commissioners met Monday morning in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building. The Drainage Board meeting begins at 8:30 and the Commissioners at 9:30. The County Drainage Board will consider maintenance bids for the George Seltenright Ditch, Emma Kuntz Ditch, and the Craig Unsicker Ditch.
