Bringing vital services to our rural and remote communities
Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne believes The School Holiday Fun program “has kicked some amazing goals”.
 
The program, which was run in partnership with the Council and PCYC, and funded through the Targeted Early Intervention (TEI) program under the NSW Government Department of Communities and Justice, was made available for children and pre-teens living within The Hills’ remote and rural communities.
 
Mayor Byrne said the three-day program held at South Maroota Hall provided children living within these areas with the opportunity to participate in a new activity closer to home. ....
