RSN927 RACING VICTORIA RESPONDS TO INTEGRITY INQUIRY March 17, 2021 9:15 pm Racing Victoria: Media Statement Victorian Racing Integrity Board (VRIB) and Racing Integrity Commissioner (RIC), Mr Sean Carroll, regarding the withdrawal by RV Stewards of charges laid against licensed trainer Richard Laming, assistant trainer Zeyaur Rahman before a hearing of the Victorian Racing Tribunal (VRT) on 25 February 2021. On 26 February 2021, RV announced that its decision to withdraw the charges followed the identification by RV of an issue that, in the Stewards’ view, made continuing the case untenable. Upon notification of the withdrawal of the charges, RV management immediately commenced an internal review of the issue and advised VRIB of its proposed course of action. ....
