Novitke Municipal Center for the Grosse Pointe Woods Beautification Advisory Commission’s 46th annual flower sale. The flower sale is a city tradition. This year’s event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 7 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 8, and all are welcome. The Robert E. Novitke Municipal Center is located at 20025 Mack Ave. Those who preordered their items by the April 21 deadline can pick them up curbside from 3 to 6 p.m. May 6 at the municipal center. The flower sale serves as the BAC’s largest fundraiser, and event proceeds support beautification programs and plantings throughout Grosse Pointe Woods. ....
