London’s Brescia University College is launching a new centre for women and leadership.
The centre is intended to be a nationally recognized hub for the scholarship and advancement of women’s leadership, the women’s college said Thursday.

The centre’s inaugural chair is Marlene Janzen Le Ber, an Ivey Business School graduate who is chairperson of Brescia’s school of leadership and social change.
Le Ber, a recipient of Brescia’s excellence in research award, joined the college in 2015 after serving on its board of trustees from 2007-13. Before that, she was a health-care executive.
