The League said in a statement that they will continue to work with public health units and facilities to develop a Return to Play Plan that will ensure the safety of players, staff, fans and officials are priority. Commissioner Mark Tuck said in a statement “ that the league is looking at all options in order to hold some form of a season.” He added that the league is doing everything to ensure everything can be done in a safe way.” ....
GOJHL pauses Return to Play Plan SHARE ON: The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League is pressing pause on its return to play. In a press release issued Wednesday morning, the league says its return to play plans have been put on hold with the Ontario-wide shutdown’s new restrictions closing indoor sports facilities. GOJHL Commissioner Mark Tuck says the league’s priority is to “exhaust all options in order to have some form of a season” and he adds they are doing everything they can to “get our players, teams and league through development and gameplay to a safe return to the ice.” ....
