On after the wind event is over, sometime midday tomorrow, they dont just flip a switch and turn the power back on, they have to go out and physically inspect all of those lines to make sure if a limb has come down on one of those lines, they ve clear that, make sure everything is okay. They started turning off power in the Sierra Foothills around 2 00 this afternoon. Places like the peninsula, they could be impacted. Overnight stly. But as you said, it takes time to get it back up and running. They cant just turn it back on. We could have another wind event, possibly over the weekend. Yeah. Sunday looks a bit dicey at this point. So well have to see about that. And its so interesting, isnt it, that they can flip the power off no problem but turning it back on is a little more challenging because they dont want to just turn it back on in the event that a line has been damaged in the wind. We continue to participate on daily interagency calls with the National Weather service and predictive services, northern operations forecast offices and the general consensus is that this will be a highrisk weather event unfolding. As far as forecasts from the federal agencies, there are six forecast offices from the National Weather service who have posted red flag warnings for this event. So if you go to weather. Gov you can see the aerial extent of these red flag warnings. They cover vast portions of Northern California as well as southern california. And the northern Ops Predictive Services as well as southern Ops Predictive Services are forecasting high risk for wind in this weather event. The start of the weather risk window is about less than 24 hours away. More or less than 24 hours away.
