Neighborhoods wrecked. mark potter is reporting from clarksdale, mississippi. the sun is up, whether is much better today. but the sun is shining on a really devastated community. reporter: yeah, that s the thing, when the sun came up this morning, we could see pretty clearly the level of damage. this is an example. these folks are obviously not able to live here now during the holidays. they re homeless. the roof has collapsed in the front, knocked off its foundation. the sheriff told us they re okay in terms of their health. but they ve been moved to a shelter in clarksdale. so that makes for a pretty rough holiday season for them. we talked to another guy down the road here who said that he was actually sitting on his front porch when he saw the tornado coming. he watched it to see where it was going and then he realized it was coming right at him. so he dove into the closet. he and his wife rode out the storm together. ....
