SDSU Extension Dairy Specialist Dr. Maristela Rovai says they received federal funding from a grant from the High Plains Intermountain Center for Agricultural Health and Safety. She says some of the workers are reluctant to get the vaccine so they’re making this effort to educate them on the importance of being vaccinated. She says she’s personally contacting dairy workers at their worksite with information about the vaccine and explaining why they should get the shot. ....
