In a show staged by Italian luxury brand Tod’s on the eve of the 60th Venice Biennale, ‘The Art of Craftsmanship’, master artisans recreated the label’s classic loafer shoe using their chosen craft.
Tod's unveiled the exhibit “The Art of Craftsmanship – a Project by Venetian Masters" in Venice as partner of the Italian Pavilion at the Art Biennale.
In the 1700s, there were about 300 artisans making gold leaf in the city. Now there is just Marino Menegazzo, whi is also one of very few remaining in Europe.
