What s most important this holiday week. actor gary sinise will lead his lieutenant dan band in washington and we talked to him about why he s focusing on the military. there s, unfortunately, a pretty big disconnect between the american people and the military because unless you have a personal relationship with man, a family member serving, a veteran in the family or a friend or something, a lot of the american people don t really understand what the military does. there s a statistic that talks about almost 70% of the american people disconnected to the military and don t know what the military and families go through. when s wonderful about the concert, it kind of highlight that is and points up stories of sacrifice and service. current sacrifice and sacrifice years past and it really highlights what memorial day is all about. it s more than hot dogs and ball ....

And helmand province in the south and what happened is because we were there so long, we became part of that marine family, that army family, and as much as we don t want them to look after us, they didn t care. they would look after us. we are just armed with the cameras and documenting it. people say, soldiers and marines don t want that to happen. they want the stories told and that s why i feel really there have been stories over the course of 13 years of the war and not enough and basically, you know, that war was ignored in great respect. and, you know, i wanted to create a historical document that tells that story of sacrifice. and here s another look at the hornet s nest. fighting not only for this war on terror they re fighting for their fellow soldiers. ....
