National Day of Prayer held at Beirut Memorial This year the National Day of Prayer came at a good time after Governor Cooper has allowed a larger number of people to gather. In his proclamation, he believes all North Carolinians of all faiths and backgrounds should be able to express their beliefs through prayer. Last year due to Covid-19 restrictions, no more than 10 people could gather so the Day of Prayer was livestreamed for the residents of Onslow.
