(Photo by Janelle Patterson) In times of social distancing, how does a public park project and monument owned by the City of Marietta see public engagement in decision-making? “This is a more sophisticated version that you see of a lot of the city council meetings where they’re just doing Zoom meetings,” prefaced Kellie Grob, of 1218 Marketing and Communications LLC. “This is a software program that the Ohio Department of Transportation uses that allows the presenters to present and share slides and different things. And then it allows anybody in the public to interact, either through phone, email or chat box.”
