Just before 6 00 a. M. , here at 30th street station normal Amtrak Service between philly and new york city will resume for the First Time Since that deadly crash last week. It killed eight and injured more than 200. You can see there on the information board, it is reflected right there all trains running on time, starting at 6 00. And when those trains pull out again they will now be using positive train control through that section of track in port richmond, crews worked around the clock this weekend to finish that installation, of course, thats the technology that will automatically slow a train to safe speed in case of human error. Meantime National Transportation safety board investigation into the cause of this crash continues. Investigators are now looking into the possibility that amtrak 188 was hit by an object before the crash. However, everyone weve spoken to this morning who is hopping on a train they say they are confident in amtrak, and riding the rales to new york city.
