View Comments A few weeks back Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer spoke publicly for the first time since being elected last November. He hated having to do so. He told the Maricopa County Supervisors, “As you all know, I ran on the goal of making the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office Boring Again.  To that end, I had not given a single interview prior to Friday since taking office.  I’d instead been focusing on the administrative and managerial aspects of the job – responsibilities that I truly love.” Richer is a numbers guy.
