Apple Valley's Marianna Cole hopes to become Bon Appétit's 'Favorite Chef'

“Besides the money, the winner will get a two-page spread in Bon Appétit’s magazine,” said Cole, who submitted her application after seeing the contest while watching Netflix.
Favorite Chef is paying for the featured content in the magazine, according to Bon Appétit spokeswoman Savannah Jackson said on Thursday.
Bon Appétit also took to Twitter on Wednesday to clarify the contest, posting, Favorite Chef purchased a paid ad in the magazine that intends to spotlight the winner of the contest they were conducting.
