RIVIERA BEACH The first two homicides of 2021 happened this past weekend in the same city in separate shootings, Riviera Beach police confirmed late Tuesday. On Saturday, 22-year-old Allaysia McDonald was fatally shot shot on the 1000 block of Blue Heron Boulevard, Riviera Beach police said. Then at 3:35 a.m. Sunday, 19-year-old Joseph Brown was fatally shot while riding his bicycle on the 1600 block of Avenue E, just south of Blue Heron and west of Broadway. No one had been arrested in either of the fatal shootings as Wednesday afternoon, police said. Family and friends of McDonald posted comments of heartbreak and disbelief over her death on her public Facebook page. Several said her son turned 2 years old just days prior to the shooting. ....
