Created: July 11, 2021 10:45 PM (ABC 6 News) - Hundreds of people showed up in Millville to wish Clifford and Margaret Rabe a happy anniversary. They got married on July 10, 1941, and now 80 years later, they re still together, which makes them Minnesota s longest married couple. It s amazing, overwhelming, and unbelievable, Margaret Rabe said. Family and friends showed up at the American Legion in Millville to say congrats! The line went out the door. Clifford and Margaret have quite the family. We have two daughters, 6 grandkids, 15 great-grandkids, and 25 great-great grandkids. We ve been very blessed through the years, Margaret Rabe said. The American Legion was packed! The whole family was there. Right next to her parents is Judy Becklund, she s glad she could be with her parents on their special day. ....
December 14 Amanda Pardi recently pulled an all-nighter, but it wasn’t for any of the classes in her senior year at St. Thomas University. Instead, the 2017 Lourdes High School grad was in the middle of releasing a variety pack of coffee for the business she helps run, Vitality Roasting. Releasing that variety pack didn’t go as smoothly as she would have liked. Nonetheless, it turned out to be a huge success. “Everything that could have gone wrong in that process went wrong,” Pardi said. “We pulled an all-nighter to get everything fixed and ready to go. The next day, we were so delusionally tired. We ended up falling asleep on our couch at work for like an hour and woke up to all this support. My phone was blowing up.” ....
