It had been thought that the us president would come over to mark the official opening of the new American Embassy in south london. It replaces the existing us embassy in the centre of the city. But in the early hours of this morning President Trump tweeted that he had cancelled his planned visit because he was not a big fan of the new embassy, which he said had been commissioned by his predecessor, barack obama.
