Though the Wong family is on record that the Kowloon won’t be closing anytime soon, the Planning Board approved a preliminary subdivision plan for a potential mixed-use development at the 948 Broadway parcel in the future.
Paul Marchionda, the owner of Marchionda & Associates, told the Planning Board the proposed development at the Kowloon site is anticipated to include 220 units of residential housing and between 30,000 and 40,000 square-feet of commercial space.
Marchionda appeared before the Planning Board on Feb. 18 after the town’s Planning Department expressed concerns with an unclear intent on a proposed use and a lack of technical information included in the application for a preliminary subdivision plan at 948 Broadway. ....
