MARLBORO   A city man has died from injuries he suffered in a tree cutting accident last weekend, authorities said. John Cahill, 55, died on Wednesday after he was taken off of life support, Middlesex District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Marcella Dwork said Thursday. On Saturday, a tree that Cahill was cutting down at his 157 Sudbury St. property fell on him, authorities said. A family member called 911 and Cahill was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester by a medical rescue helicopter with serious head injuries, authorities said. The Marlboro Police and Fire departments, as well as the district attorney’s office investigated the death. It is not considered suspicious.
