to go on offense across the country starting tonight in wisconsin. pushing a plan that polls show nearly 70% of americans already support. that number includes 37% of republicans. and with that kind of backing and very few, if any, republicans in congress likely to vote for the plan, the white house is practically daring them to vote against it. this is an opportunity, as you noted, to go out and have a conversation with the people of wisconsin, people who agree with him, people who disagree with him. but if you look at the polls, they are very consistent. the vast majority of the american people like what they see in this package. as the washington post puts it, biden is winning republican support for his $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief plan, just not in washington. and that includes many republican mayors pushing hard for money for state and local governments which democrats want, but many republicans in congress do not, calling them blue state bailouts. but many gop
