A MOTHER and son duo are taking on a marathon to raise money for the Royal National Institute of Blind People. Michelle Baker and five-year-old son Eli, from Beazley End, are both keen runners and will take on the RNIB’s Marathon Mates challenge next month. The challenge is inspired by those who have lost their sight but continue to run with a guide runner. Michelle, 31 and Eli, who is partially sighted, will pair up and split the marathon distance between them over the course of the month. Eli suffers from nystagmus, a condition where the eyes move uncontrollably, and ocular albinism. ....
