LIVINGSTON, NJ Longtime Livingston resident and volunteer extraordinaire Keith Hines was recently selected as the recipient of the 2021 Humanitarian Award by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Oranges & Maplewood Branch and will be honored during the local chapter’s Freedom Fund Gala on Saturday, May 8, at 7 p.m. 
Hines, a respected and beloved figure in Livingston since 1972, is most known in the community for being a charter member and 22-year co-chair of the Livingston Committee for Diversity and Inclusion (LCDI) in addition to serving as a deacon at First Baptist Church in Millburn and dedicating countless hours to community service activities throughout the area. ....
