hello. the british government published today the blueprint for its net zero strategy. 368 pages that will help guide government policy and investment in the coming decades. it sets out how we will heat our homes, how we will travel, how our energy will be generated. anything that does produce greenhouse gases through manufacturing orfrom flying around the world will be balanced by measures to absorb carbon dioxide, like planting trees. and if this plan works, it will mean that in 30 years time, the united kingdom will be a net zero country putting nothing into the atmosphere which makes climate change worse. the document has been circulated ahead of the united nations climate conference in glasgow, cop26, which begins at the end of the month. here s our science
