Mayor Benjamin Magalong said the contact tracing team immediately started tracking the travel and contact history of the patient, eventually finding out that 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation contacts had recently travelled to Baguio City. ....

The local officials agreed to impose the border restrictions anew to arrest the surge in the incidence of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in their localities. (Zaldy Comanda / MANILA BULLETIN) The measure will be implemented following the marked increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Benguet province with 55 new cases, 26 of which were recorded in La Trinidad, and 21 in Itogon, on Friday, December 25.
