Emirates News Agency - Tourism, Dubai Municipality join hands during mangrove planting initiative to mark the UAE's Golden Jubilee

DUBAI, 21st December, 2021 (WAM) Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Dubai Municipality jointly organised a Mangrove Tree Planting initiative recently at Jebel Ali Wetland Sanctuary to mark the UAE’s Golden Jubilee and support sustainability efforts in line with the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative.
The Mangrove Tree Planting initiative took place as part of the corporate social and environmental responsibility programme in line with the UAE’s ambition to expand its mangrove cover by planting 100 million mangroves by 2030.. ....
