During the first 6 seasons of the Modern Era, Jack Taylor established a pitching record that never has been seriously.
Say the name "Kuhn" to a baseball fan and he likely will be reminded of Bowie Kuhn, the sport's commissioner in 1969-84.
Add the name "Charlie" and the fan may think of Charlie Finley, owner of.
