Mammootty s upcoming action-comedy film Turbo is set for an early release on May 23rd, 2024, instead of the initially planned June 13th date. Directed by Vysakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, the movie introduces Telugu actor Sunil and Kannada star Raj B Shetty to Malayalam cinema. The film s poster, featuring Mammootty in a Turbo avatar, has created excitement among fans, promising a thrilling and entertaining experience.
Commending Mammootty's film choices, Bramayugam director Rahul Sadasivan said, "If you look at his filmography, he did not start doing these experimental roles recently – he’s always been doing them."
Director Rahul Sadasivan’s Mammootty-starrer Bramayugam is performing well even during weekdays, with Tuesday's figure only Rs 25 lakh lower than that of the previous day.
Revealing that even during the initial stages, he never conceived Bramayugam in colour, director Rahul Sadasivan recently said that he believed monochrome would help ignite curiosity in audiences.
