Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara State has reinstated the Emir of Birnin Yandoto who gave a chieftaincy title to a bandit leader, Ado Aleru. In July 2022, SaharaReporters reported that the state government suspended the Emir of Sabon Birnin Yandoto in the Tsafe local government area of the state, Aliyu Garba Marafa, for making the notorious bandit the Sarkin Fulani (leader of Fulani). Terrorists Demand Additional Ransoms From 85 Zamfara Residents To Purchase Motorcycles Lost To Nigerian Military

The terrorists who kidnapped 85 people in Wanzamai village in the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State have demanded an additional N850,000 from the community to buy two motorcycles after collecting the sum of N1.7million as ransom. SaharaReporters had reported that the 85 people were kidnapped by the terrorists last Friday in the community.
