KUALA LUMPUR: Five young Malaysian film directors created history when their films were named among the region s 20 best for this year by the Asian Movie Pulse website.
A news report yesterday said that the portal made the selection based on the movies quality and potential, aside from having a global reach via participation in international film festivals and video streaming services.
The movies are Geran directed by Areel Abu Bakar, Malu (Edmund Yeo), Roh (Emir Ezwan), Victim(s) (Layla Zhuqing Ji) and Sometime, Sometime (Jacky Yeap). ....
