SpaceBasic, an EdTech focused business-to-business software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, and student housing platform Good Host Spaces on Wednesday announced a collaboration, aiming to improve the quality of the latters student housing operations.
Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal is gearing up to launch an AI-as-a-service startup that will target global customers, a media report said.

"Capella Educore has institutionalised the K-12 segment in India and is now looking to scale up further to tap the growing opportunity in the market. It is essentially to help mid-level school operators go asset-light by doing the sale and leaseback of the asset so they can focus on their core job of imparting education," said one of the persons cited above. Standalone schools that are looking to join a larger network are also part of the company s strategy.
Goldman held around 70% in the company that owns and operates third-party purpose-built, on-campus student housing assets across key universities including Manipal University, OP Jindal Global University and Shoolini University.
Alta Capital has acquired Goldman Sachs and Warburg Pincus stake in India s largest student housing platform, Good Host Spaces, for $320 million. Alta Capital has previously invested in India s largest managed office spaces operator, Table Space, and Pragati Warehousing. Good Host Spaces, which partners with universities to provide specialized accommodation services to students, has an operational portfolio of around 25,000 beds across five cities and is in talks to add more.
