More than a dozen people were arrested in connection with a multi-county gun trafficking ring, the Montgomery County District Attorney s Office said Wednesday. The DA s office said in a news release that 14 people trafficked guns in Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Berks and Lancaster counties. Authorities allege 31 guns were purchased by Quinn Whisted, 22, of Plymouth Meeting; Maliqa Jack, 25 of Pottstown; Makayla Prince, 22, of Reading; and Deborah Chappell, 61, of Pottstown. The firearms were purchased for a gun trafficking organization led by Alexander Smith, 20, of Plymouth Meeting; Daveese Smith, 22 and Tony Pearson, 40, both of Norristown; Taye Wynder, 20, Daeshaun Wynder, 22, and Jerome Wynder, 24, all of Pottstown; Tymir Allen, 22, of Philadelphia; Joseph Zummo, 26, of Bridgeport; Kristen Owens, 24, of Plymouth Meeting; and Telani Ewell, 20, of Newcastle, Delaware, according to the DA s office. ....
