shooting spree last year gets prison time. sabrina/wxhang local 5 s claire powell joins us now, and claire, you were at the sentencing today. claire/wxhang sabrina, pete polson - also known as the pleasant hill shooter- took the stand again today for his sentencing. claire: polson was found guilty on several charges including attempted murder stemming from a a shooting in pleasant hill on november 17th of last year. this morning, a judge sentenced polson to 55 years in prison- with a mandatory minimum of 27.5 years. the november 20-14 shooting severly injured two people a third person was narrowly missed. polson said he was heavily intoxicated at the time and didn t remember much from the shooting. all three emotional victims took the stand today - telling polson he deserves everything he gets. my kids were in there. bullet went through my house. you couldve killed my kids. slam you dont care, theres a special place in hell for guys like you. hope you rot in prison and
