Tenorio said another grant will create content for 10 more historic sites, and they are partnering with Guam PBS who can put the content on TV.
They re also hopeful the songs created for the project can be heard on the radio in the future, he said.
During academic year of 2020-2021, Guam Preservation Trust, with additional funding from Humanities Guåhan, the National Endowment for Humanities and the federal CARES Act will continue this project to invite 10 CHamoru language teachers in collaboration with Guam Preservation Trust staff songwriters/musicians to produce 10 historic places curriculum lesson plans.
