The Kansas City Actors Theatre's 18th Annual Season will present Arthur Miller's The Price. Kansas City favorites Victor Raider-Wexler, Mark Robbins, and Jan Rogge join KCAT newcomer Jason Chanos in the multiple Tony® Award-nominated classic “The Price” by pre-eminent American playwright Arthur Miller. Live theater returns to Millville!
Millville High School’s Fine and Performing Arts Department is set to present Disney’s “Newsies: The Broadway Musical” at 7:30 p.m. May 27 and 28 and 2 and 7:30 p.m. May 29.
This high energy musical, based on the 1992 film of the same name, explores the true story of the 1899 Children’s Crusade.
Under the direction of Margaret Keefer, vocal direction of Donna Terry, and pit direction of Rob DeSantis, this musical showcases the singing, dancing and acting talents of the students.
More than 50 high school students, plus three elementary school students, have been rehearsing since January and are ready to welcome audiences to the Performing Arts Center at Lakeside Middle School.
