Almost 4,000 compounds issued by Johor police this year

JOHOR BARU: Some 3,885 compounds have been issued by the police here for various Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP) violations since Jan 13 this year.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said that the Johor Baru South police headquarters issued the most compounds with a total of 702, followed by Segamat with 677 as of Tuesday (May 12).

Earlier, during checks at roadblocks in the Tangkak district, we detected individuals who attempted to cross the border to enter Melaka using police permits issued for earlier dates, he said, adding that action had been taken against them. ....
