Share Governor Nasir El Rufai will receive the 2020 annual report on security from the Kaduna State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs at the Council Chambers of Sir Kashim Ibrahim House on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. A statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Mr Muyiwa Adekeye, on Tuesday, said that the presentation of the report will be attended by government and security officials and guests from academia, civil society and the media. The statement which said that Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, will make the presentation, said that the security report ‘’extends the transparency of the daily reports across an annual cycle, providing a fact-based assessment of the security challenges the state confronts.’’ ....

Speaking at the formal inauguration of the KADIPA board, Malam El-Rufai formally welcomed His Highness, Muhammadu Sanusi II to the board as Vice-Chairman, and thanked him for accepting to serve the people of Kaduna state. The governor disclosed that KADIPA has been a very important and successful vehicle in the investment drive of the state, helping since 2015 to attract over$2.1bn in actual and pledged investments. ....

Located inside Yangoji Village, Kwali Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alheri is home to about 2,000 people, primarily made up of leprosy infected persons and their families. The settlement was originally launched with 90 apartments built by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) in 2006. About 50 more apartments have been added since then through initiatives such as the World Bank and the Leprosy Mission Nigeria partnership. The settlement has a primary school, a clinic and few other basic amenities. ....
